Cassolnovo (Pavia) – Maria Grazia Pietrapertosa and Luigi Critelli, respectively commander and deputy of the local police of Cassolnovo at the time of the disputed facts, have been sent to trial. The events date back to the period between 2021 and 2022.
The decision was made yesterday by Judge Daniela Garlaschelli, at the end of the preliminary hearing. The trial will begin on November 28th. According to the accusations, the officers would have had two motorcycles that were circulating without a license plate and insurance delivered to them, vehicles that were not officially seized: according to the investigators, the officers would have suggested to the owners to sell them to people indicated by them and at a price lower than their value, to avoid seizure. Accusations that will be evaluated during the trial.
The Municipality, represented by lawyer Gianluigi Tizzoni, and the two young owners of the motorcycles have joined the proceedings as civil parties. In the context of the investigation, the two officers had been arrested in 2023, a situation that had led the administration of Cassolnovo to have to request support from neighboring municipalities to ensure the proper number of officers to patrol the territory.
