Can we think of finding a solution to prevent this from happening in the future? Can we not passively accept that after only fifteen minutes of rain, albeit intense, the street is flooded?”
This is the message sent to ilSaronno by a resident of via Biffi, which was flooded during today’s storm, Wednesday, September 20th. The rain started to fall at 5pm and already after less than half an hour the street was flooded. The part after the hill, in front of Paladozio, as well as the parking area and the outdoor area of the bar were also affected.
Floods have been the subject of a lively political debate, with the administration explaining the interventions carried out, starting from those for the construction of the cycle path to the cleaning of the drains invaded by roots, and with residents and opposition, including the Lega party, speaking of a significantly worsened problem after the construction site and asking for a new technical solution.
