Albavilla – Two thefts within a few days, possibly carried out on the same evening, in Via Panoramica in Albavilla. Some residents reported the incident and also shared an appeal on social media to ‘keep their eyes open’.
“Yesterday morning my dad went to our neighbors, who were on vacation, to water the plants and found the back door broken with the window shattered – a resident recounted – we immediately informed our children and together with them we filed a report with the Carabinieri. After this episode, we found out that on the previous Friday another house had been targeted by thieves, also in the same street, not far from my neighbors’ house. It’s difficult to say if the thefts were carried out on the same evening or if the second one happened over the weekend.” According to what we have learned, the apartment targeted on Friday night was also empty at the time of the break-in: “It’s possible that the thieves had been keeping an eye on the owners’ movements, deciding to act as soon as they left.”
The resident emphasized the need to stay vigilant: “Many houses in this street are located in a poorly lit area and bordering the woods, it’s easy to go unnoticed, that’s why I ask everyone to keep their eyes open, hoping that no more similar incidents occur” she concluded.
