MALPENSA – Domenico Livrieri, 46 years old, attempted to escape from Malpensa after the murder of his neighbor Marta Di Nardo, 60 years old, which took place in Milan on via Pietro da Cortona, in an Aler building, on October 4th in the house where the woman lived.
The cellphone to the taxi driver
Livrieri was arrested today, Saturday, October 21st. The victim’s body was found in his apartment, cut in two and in an advanced state of decomposition. According to what is reported by Adnkronos on October 16th (as stated in the arrest order by the public prosecutor of Milan, Leonardo Lesti), the man went to “Malpensa airport, aboard a taxi, presumably in an attempt to leave the national territory, probably unsuccessful due to lack of adequate financial resources.” Not only that. At the end of the trip, the man allegedly got rid of his cellphone in front of the airport, leaving it to the taxi driver because he was unable to pay for the ride.
Economic motive
Money, the search for the victim’s ATM card, would be the motive that armed the hand of the 46-year-old. After killing her, he allegedly sought refuge several times at the woman’s house – also to escape the bad smell in his own apartment, according to investigators – before getting rid of the keys to the house, after already throwing away the SIM card of the woman’s phone.
