“Stefano was an extremely good person, and I emphasize person, with impeccable morality. We have been friends for practically every day for over 30 years. He always worked hard, even doing evening shifts, and dedicated himself to his family with devotion. He had a great affection for his nephew. Unfortunately, in recent months, he was struck by depression, an illness that, in addition to the social stigma that makes you ashamed and silent, presents symptoms such as anger, strong anxiety, emotional and social isolation, the inability to find pleasure in things you once loved, and the desire to end one’s life to put an end to intense pain that has nothing to do with visible physical pain that can be observed by others.”
