Mortara, 51-year-old woman rescued by her son who called 118
On Monday evening around 10 pm, a 51-year-old woman was slapped by her husband in a house on Via Balduzzi in Mortara. The woman fell, hit her head, and suffered a very serious head injury: she underwent surgery during the night at San Matteo hospital and is now hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit with a reserved prognosis. The man hit his wife during an argument that started due to alcohol consumption. The first person to assist the woman was her son, who then called for emergency medical assistance. The Carabinieri of the Vigevano company have opened an investigation to determine the husband’s responsibilities.
