Saronno – “Why weren’t the Christmas lights that were placed in advance for the Trasporto turned off?” This is the question that is circulating in the city these hours, and also on social media, as the LED balls that have been decorating the heart of Saronno since last week.
The lights were intentionally put up well in advance at the request of the municipal administration so that they could be turned on during the Trasporto celebration. Many Saronno residents looked up during the procession and saw the lights on, and many took pictures at dusk or in the dark. Among the many images, there is a suggestive collection of views by the President of the City Council, Pierluigi Gilli.
Today, however, is Wednesday and despite the fact that the Trasporto ended on Monday morning, the lights are still on. What worries is the fact that the lights are on night and day. Several reports have been received at the Town Hall and on social media. In the past, a similar problem had already been recorded, to which the technicians had found a solution in a few days, also because the intention is to keep them off to avoid excessive consumption.
