L’appello ad effettuare tempestivamente lavori di manutenzione

Rho – “What happened at the ITIS Cannizzaro in Rho is a regrettable and unacceptable episode,” comments the Coordinator of the Lega Giovani, Andrea Badolato, referring to what happened in recent days at the Rhodense Institute, where students went on strike due to the gym still being unusable after the last flood, walls filled with water due to leaks, and the consequent peeling of paint, often inside classrooms and corridors.

“As a former student of Cannizzaro – Badolato continues – I know well the conditions in which the institute is in, and even then, through the metropolitan student council, as Lega Giovani, we had promptly reported the critical issues present in the classrooms, corridors, gyms, and especially in the bathrooms. The legitimate protests of the students demonstrate that no effective renovation work has ever been carried out despite the situation being in front of everyone’s eyes.”

“It is not possible – Badolato insists – for students to be forced to attend classes in these conditions. It is absolutely necessary for an immediate intervention by the Metropolitan City to secure the institute and ensure a decent environment for the students who attend it. As Lega Giovani, together with our Metropolitan City councilor Raffaele Cucchi, we will be the spokespersons for the students and we will ask the Metropolitan City to carry out maintenance interventions as soon as possible. We also appeal to Mayor Orlandi to take action to resolve the problem as soon as possible.”
