Meda, crackdown on driving without insurance and vehicle inspection. Fines and seizures are increasing. The interventions of the Local Police aimed at maintaining road safety in the city continue unabated. Today, January 31st, in addition to the usual checks on driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, thorough checks were carried out on the main arteries to verify the regularity of vehicle insurance coverage.
Two specially assigned patrols operated in strategic points of the city, catching three vehicles without insurance coverage. In response to this irregularity, the officers proceeded with the administrative seizure of the vehicles involved.
At the same time, four fines were imposed on drivers who had not subjected their vehicles to the prescribed periodic inspection.
The checks will continue in the coming days.
