SARONNO – “It is serious and unacceptable to make political propaganda with misinformation, completely hiding the truth of the facts.” This is how the Lega MEP Isabella Tovaglieri expressed herself in a statement, referring to the pro-Palestine rally that took place yesterday, Sunday, October 22nd, in Saronno.
According to the flyer distributed yesterday in the square by the anarchist collective Adespota during an unauthorized rally, Israel’s armed reaction would be a response to “a massive missile attack by Hamas from the Gaza Strip”, and not to the need of the Jewish state to defend itself from the vile large-scale attack carried out by Hamas terrorists against the defenseless civilian population, which has shocked public opinion worldwide. The barbaric killings at dawn of families, children, and innocent young people, the kidnapping of hundreds of people from their homes, are not mentioned in the reconstruction of these rights defenders only in words, who in practice show solidarity with a terrorist organization that suffocates rights, such as the right of the Jewish people to exist, in blood, to the point of having the cancellation of the State of Israel in its statute. We have been accustomed for years to political initiatives outside the law carried out by this collective through illegal occupations and unauthorized rallies, but yesterday they crossed the line. While maintaining the freedom to demonstrate for the Palestinian people, who are also indirect victims of Hamas attacks, we condemn the lies and convenient truths with which the anarchists try to rewrite history, portraying the victims as aggressors.
